Slaney U12`s Start New Yeart With A Win...

UNDER 12`s LEAGUE ... Slaney Rovers took on Killeshin in Larry Byrne`s and after a lot of possession, Slaney finally hit the onion bag through Cian Brennan when on the receiving end of a Jason Jacob cross. Lead didn` t last long, as Killeshin scored, at their very next attempt. Mid way in the second half, another cross from Jason Jacob, put Diamuid Gavan in for Slaney`s second and the winning goal.

Slaney U 12`s Lose by Odd Goal In Five

Slaney U 12`s failed two convert two golden chances in the first half whereas Harps converted three. In 2`nd half with Conor Doyle providing the pass which Diamuid Gavin collected and found the top corner. Later on Conor Doyle scored a cracker from outside the box which made the last quarter very exciting but Harps held on for full points.
